ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!! I'm Fernando, from Spain. I always love to host people in my home. I did it whole life, but now I'm traveling around the world, so, I can't host you. Sorry about that.
I have always been a traveler, but now I'm doing my most deep dream: traveling without hurries learning and knowing the real life in the different countries around the world.
I depart from Spain in 2014 March 15 and until now I have visited 55 countries between the South of Europe, Asia, Oceania, South America and Center America and Africa.
To believe in my travel and be in peace with my mind I divided the trip into four parts:
- The first part initially went to NZ, but I could cross the Pacific Ocean by sailing ship as a volunteer and I finally finished it in South Korea. More than 1 year and a half after my previsions.
- In the second part, I want to travel around the American Continent, from the south to the north crossing the Center and Caribbean sea islands. The idea is to visit most countries as possible starting in Chile where I arrived in 2018 January.
- The third part I will back Europe and I want to cross the north and the part of Asia that I can't do in the first part.
- And in the fourth and last part, I want to cross Africa to arrive in Spain again.
I don't know the exact time I need for all trip but I think between 10-12 years, or maybe I never will stop the travel. Who knows. The future is just this, future, and nobody can control it... and I prefer to live the present.
I'm a nice person and I love the people, I'm honest, very energetic, enthusiastic, sympathetic and very positive with life. I'm not rich, no about the money, but every time I'm more rich about experiences in my life. And I think it's the truth and the authentic wealth. For this, I'm using volunteering programs and CS. I think both are the best way to learn, know and help the people, getting help in the travel.
I don't want to travel for free when my host accepts my request and I visit them I like to give in exchange my good Spanish or international food and I can collaborate in his home cleaning or other things if he or she needs. I don't need a special room to sleep, just a clean mattress in a corner or a couch and a roof to protect me during my sleeping is enough.

SOBRE MI

¡¡Hola a todos!! Soy Fernando, de España. Siempre me encantó acoger a gente en mi casa. Lo hice toda mi vida, pero ahora estoy dando la vuelta al mundo y en este momento no puedo hacerlo. Perdonad por ello.
Siempre fui viajero, pero ahora estoy realizando mi sueño más profundo: viajar sin prisas, aprendiendo y conociendo la vida real en los diferentes países alrededor del mundo.
Salí de España el 15 de marzo de 2014 y hasta ahora he visitado 55 países entre el sur de Europa, Asia, Oceanía, América del Sur y América Central y África.
Para creer en mi viaje y estar en paz con mi mente dividí el viaje en cuatro partes:
- La primera parte, en un principio, llegaba hasta NZ, pero pude cruzar el Océano Pacífico en un velero como voluntario y finalmente terminó en Corea del Sur. Más de un año y medio después de lo previsto.
- En la segunda parte quiero viajar alrededor de América, desde el Sur hasta el Norte, pasando por el centro y las islas del Caribe. La idea es visitar la mayor parte de los países como sea posible comenzando en Chile dónde llegué en enero de 2018.
- La tercera parte volverá a Europa y quiero cruzar el norte y la parte asiática que no pude hacer en la primera parte.
- Y en la cuarta y última parte quiero cruzar África para llegar a España otra vez.
No sé exactamente el tiempo que necesito para hacer todo el viaje, pero pienso que entre 10-12 años, o quizás nunca pare de viajar. Quien sabe. El futuro es eso, futuro, y nadie puede controlarlo... y prefiero vivir el presente.
Soy buena persona y me encanta la gente, soy honesto, energético, entusiasta, simpático y muy positivo con la vida. No soy rico, no sobre el dinero, pero cada vez soy más rico en experiencias en mi vida. Y creo que es la verdadera y auténtica riqueza. Por ello estoy utilizando los programas de voluntariado y CS. Pienso que ambos son la mejor manera para aprender, conocer y ayudar a la gente, siendo ayudado en el viaje.
No quiero viajar gratis, cuando los anfitriones aceptan mis solicitudes y los visito me gusta dar a cambio mi extraordinaria comida española e internacional y puedo colaborar en sus casas, limpiando o haciendo otras cosas si él o ella lo necesitan. No necesito una habitación especial, con un colchón limpio en una esquina, o el sofá, y un techo que me proteja durante mi descanso es suficiente.
Muchas gracias a la gente que me ha ayudado hasta ahora y la nueva gente que puede ayudarme en el futuro.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Now I'm on a long trip and only participate like a surfer, but in the future, I want to back to help others in my home as a host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have different Couchsurfing experiences, and everybody was really nice to me in his/her countries. In Taiwan, I could collaborate in a Couchsurfers country program called Couchsurfers in class, and then I could visit the whole island and so many of the schools to tell the students about my travel. Was one of the things more unforgettable what did I ever do. Thank you very much for that, a traveller need the great experiences.

EXPERIENCIA EN COUCHSURFING

Tengo diferentes experiencias y todos fueron increíbles conmigo en sus países. En Taiwán pude colaborar en un programa de Couchsurfers llamado Couchsurfers en Clase, y por ello pude visitar toda la isla y muchas escuelas para contarles a los estudiantes sobre mi viaje. Una de las cosas inolvidables que nunca hice. Muchas gracias por ello, un viajero necesita de experiencias geniales.

I love music, all styles depend on the moment and the feel. I was a DJ for 15 years in clubs, discotheques and radio station.
I read a lot about adventures and travels. I use my mobile phone for everything.
I love the cinema.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first one is to trust me when I set out to do something.
I made my own music festival in the '90s on a small island called Menorca.
Travel around the world alone and with not much money.
I crossing the borders by land or by sea, except when is not possible and I need to use the flights. The lest times so far.
Travel around the Pacific islands as a volunteer by sailing ship during a year (more than 7000 nautical miles). This is not easy when you are a landman.
Narrate to the children in the Taiwanese schools about my travel. They boost my spirit.
I learn to design websites in a short time, but this is to learn without stopping.
Also, I participate in travel books writing about parts of my travel.
Working in a TV show in Chile learning about this word from inside.
Learn about the criptocurrencies, the money of the future and maybe the salvation for the normal people.

Lo primero confiar en mi cuando me proponto hacer algo.
Viajar alrededor del mundo solo y sin mucho dinero.
Estoy cruzando las fronteras por tierra o mar, excepto cuando no es posible y necesito usar vuelos. Las menos veces hasta ahora.
Viajar alrededor de las islas del Pacífico como voluntario en un velero durante un año (más de 7.000 millas náuticas). Esto no fue fácil cuando eres hombre de tierra.
Narrar a los niños en las escuelas taiwanesas sobre mi viaje. Ellos impulsaron mi espíritu.
He aprendido a diseñar páginas web en un tiempo corto, pero esto es para aprender sin parar.
También he participado en libros de viajes y páginas web escribiendo sobre partes de mi viaje.
Trabajar en un programa de TV en Chile aprendiendo sobre este mundo desde dentro.
Aprender de las criptomonedas, el dinero del futuro y quizás la salvación para la gente normal.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for my hosts and help them in the daily housework. I can also help with some arrangement or whatever they need. If I don't know I can learn fast. I can help with the computers and also make a blog.
If you're interested I can teach you my mother language: Spanish. I am not a teacher but I know well my language, I'm a writer in my personal blog and write to other magazines sometimes. Also, I was a journalist in a radio station for eight years.
