About Me
Hello everyone! I am a Brazilian architect who is passionate about my profession and always looking for new inspiration. One of my greatest passions is traveling, and I love exploring new places and cultures, always accompanying my girlfriend, Jaqueline, who is a financial manager. Together, we have a special connection that grows stronger with each trip.
In addition to our adventures around the world, we are parents to cats, who bring a lot of joy and fun to our home. We also share a love for board games, which provide us with moments of fun and strategy as a couple or with friends.
Whether it is designing spaces or exploring the unknown, I am always looking for enriching experiences. I am excited to share a little more about myself and get to know new places and cultures.
Our native language is Portuguese, but we have an intermediate level of English, and we are studying basic Spanish and French.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We are always looking for new adventures and experiences, as traveling is one of our great passions. However, we have noticed that at certain times of the year, the cost of accommodation can become quite high, which can limit our travel options.
So, we are exploring alternatives and, after receiving great recommendations, we decided to look for accommodations through Couchsurfing. We believe that this will not only allow us to save money, but also to discover incredible places and make the most of our travels.
We are excited about the possibility of exploring new cultures and creating unforgettable memories together!
Interests
My hobbies are a combination of activities that bring me joy and satisfaction. One of my passions is playing chess, where I like to challenge my mind and develop strategies. I am also a fan of board games, which provide fun and relaxing moments with friends and family.
Traveling is also one of my greatest passions. I love exploring new places, cultures and experiences. When I am not traveling, I like to relax by watching movies, always looking for new stories and inspiration.
Receiving friends at home is another activity that brings me great pleasure. The exchange of ideas and relaxed moments is always enriching. I am also a drawing and design enthusiast, taking advantage of my free time to design and create.
Finally, one of the things I enjoy most is talking. I believe that the best connections and learning come from exchanging experiences and ideas.
Music, Movies, and Books
I am passionate about literature and cinema, and some of my favorite books and movies reflect this love for fantastic worlds and engaging narratives. Among my books, "Harry Potter" and "The Chronicles of Narnia" always hold a special place, as they transport me to magical universes filled with adventures and valuable lessons.
When it comes to movies, "The Lord of the Rings" is a masterpiece that I admire for its rich mythology and emotional depth. I am also a fan of "The Matrix," which challenges the perception of reality in a fascinating way. Additionally, I appreciate all of Quentin Tarantino's films, whose storytelling and memorable dialogues are unparalleled.
I am a big enthusiast of science fiction, which makes me reflect on the future and the possibilities of humanity. These works, both literary and cinematic, inspire me and enrich my imagination.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am always excited to share my knowledge and experiences with others. One of my great passions is chess, and I would love to teach strategies and tactics that make this game so fascinating. I am also a board game enthusiast and can guide others through a variety of games, from the simplest to the most complex, fostering fun and learning moments.
As an architect, I have much to offer in terms of design, planning, and creativity, and I am always willing to share insights about the profession and the creative process behind each project. Additionally, I am passionate about cinema and can discuss films, genres, and directors, bringing different perspectives and analyses.
Lastly, I love to explore and share different cultures. I can teach about traditions, customs, and the richness each place has to offer, enriching the worldview of those who wish to learn. I am always open to exchanges and eager to teach what I have learned over time!
