About Me
the world is your oyster
Born and raised in Brazil, but lived in the US (summer work), Chile (volunteer work), Australia (exchange program), Taiwan (volunteer work), Saudi Arabia and UAE (professional work) besides travelling to some 40 something countries in between.
My biggest motivation for travelling was sightseeing, checking out the places I've seen on the Internet. But slowly, I started to get attracted to different cultures and beliefs, and now I travel to meet people, understand their views of the world and try to incorporate these into my own. I love telling and hearing travel stories, finding points in common between different cultures, and how this reflects on people, food, and language.

Music, Movies, and Books
I read mostly fiction of all kinds. There's enough non-fiction on my day job =)
Nowadays I hear a lot of deep house and chill music, also some folk and indie folk

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was volunteering in a National Park in Chile, there was a massive bushfire and I joined the Chilean Army and the Fire Brigade to fight against it.
Albino wallabies in a sleeper ghost town in Tasmania.
Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea, and actually seeing a North Korean with my eyes.
Stay some days with a tribe in a remote Island in Fiji, invited by the priest
Cycled around Netherlands, ~1300km in 13 days, every night a different couch
Be in Hong Kong during the Umbrella Movement (2014 HK Protests)
Teach, Learn, Share
My native language is Portuguese, my English is fluent, and I've been working in Spanish recently, so we can always juggle between these languages if we meet.
I've traveled to many places, so I can offer advice for these places or share histories with people who also have been there.
I'm not a good cook but I love eating everything. If there's this really special place or exotic food you wanna take someone but you're afraid they might say no, count with me.
