About Me

Inspire and be inspired ; Be creative and create.

I'm still learning about myself and the things that make me feel happy and also inspire me to keep moving towards a better version of who I am today. Humans were not made to be perfect, so there is always room to improve.

I'm an engineering dropout who never had a "real job". Living the entrepreneur life with the goal of becoming a digital nomad, I built my own company straight out of University. Failed miserably. Failed once again. Then kind of failed, but almost made it. Then finally made it (for now!)

I now travel the world working remotely, so I won't be found in the same place for extended periods (normally less than a month). It's a 24/7 responsibility, but with the right motivation and passion, it never really felt like it's work -- love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Experience has proven me that Couchsurfers are very like-minded :)

Interests

I'm motivated by entrepreneurship as a form of artistic creation, and I'm always looking to doing something that will create value by improving people's lives, even if just a little. Changing the world is about changing ourselves, and in turn, those that surround us.

I constantly feel the need to create and express myself. For this reason, I also enjoy writing poetry, doing some music and shooting beautiful landscapes and portraits.

I'm a foodie, so if you are a good cook, you are certainly welcome to feed my hunger for delicious stuff! I'm not a vegetarian but I tend to prefer meals without meat, as they make me feel better.

I've always valued personal evolution a lot, and spiritual growth has also gotten my interest. My life's purpose is to become better-than-yesterday every day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: La La Land, 500 Days of Summer, Inception, Before Sunrise / Sunset / Midnight, La vita è Bella, Her, The Greatest Showman, Cloud Atlas, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Lost in Translation, Into the Wild, Crash, Pay it Forward, Das Experiment, City of God, The Pursuit of Happyness.

Series: Black Mirror, Mr. Robot, Westworld, The Witcher, Dexter, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, Touch, Big Bang Theory, Walking Dead, Suits, Big Little Lies, Altered Carbon, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel ... ok, too many to list!

Music: Music is the universal language where sounds can translate into emotions, so I've learned to appreciate almost every style, depending on my state of mind.

Books: They have to either teach me something or be hilariously funny.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got involved in Couchsurfing and met a huge lot of incredible people who have positively influenced my way of perceiving life and being a better person.

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledge is power. I love passing on knowledge, so ask me anything! Lately, I've been very interested in discussing entrepreneurship and doing my best to inspire others to follow their passions. I believe that expertise is about the broadening of knowledge, not narrowing. Being able to combine distinct areas of study is what helps us to find solutions that can contribute more to the world's progress.

I'm always looking to learn something new, so I'm open to mostly anything that I don't understand or know little about! Languages, experiences, magic, you name it! It's also great to have my own beliefs challenged, so that I may better build my understanding of the world :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Above everything else, my time. As selfish as it may sound, it is the most precious thing that we all possess, and I would like to use it on doing my best to make someone smile and somehow become a better person.
