About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the world, learn more about new cultures, discover myself.

ABOUT ME

Hi there! My name is Fernando. I'm a 26 year old argentinian guy, who has left his home country to settle in Asia for at least quite a few years. Enjoying my life in Taiwan as a master student, if you want to learn about Argentinian culture or Spanish you are welcome to contact me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING

I think that couchsurfing is an unique way of being in touch with other cultures and learning from them. I have become aware of this after staying with Addy at Kuala Lumpur. A really great guy who has shown me a Malay culture and traditions.
I've been hosted in Taiwan and Japan, great unforgettable experiences. So lucky, to had met great people and being taught new things.

Interests

Well, i really like learning about other cultures, their traditions, history and specially their languages. I am keen on international relationships, specially Asia pacific relationships so i would like to learn as much asian languages as i can. First i would like to improve my (basic) japanese :P and then learn other languages :D.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is very broad. But if i have to choose i would choose british rock, like queen, saxon or iron maiden. I also like guns n' roses, metallica, acdc among others. From Argentina i like underground rock bands such as la renga and Patricio rey y sus redonditos de ricota.
Regarding to books anything from Lovecraft,Poe or Maurice Druon is among my first choice. A booked that i recently read and would suggest to anyone is "the world according to Monsanto".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not listening to society and taking a gap year from university to discover the world and rediscover myself. Best decision ever
