ABOUT ME

Ok, I am catalan, I'm almost 40 and I love to travel. I am easy conversator. Meeting new people, discovering new ways of seing, of being, gives me strength, happinesss and humility. Although I haven't got a giant experience with Couchsurfing, I have hosted much more than been hosted; always great. I've lived in Barcelona for 35 years and now I live in El Masnou, little village nearby, with my wife Barbara, from Brazil. I am fond of my city, Barcelona, which I love to share with good company. Nevertheless, I often think Barcelona can die of success: too much tourists, and life there is getting every day more complicated. The price of beauty!!
I work in theater, mainly as director. Clown, circus, magic... But what I prefer and love more than anything is drama theater. After Shakespeare and Brecht, Chejov! Everywhere I travel, I try to visit the theatres -also the bookshops. With the markets, it gives a good idea of how the people are treated in their stomachs -and their souls
Theater money is usually not enough -the reward is somewhere else- so I've had several jobs, from translating subtitles in french movies to teaching mathematics -which I studied before acting.
With my wife we travel often to Brazil and stay for a while there, learning from the vigorous life feeling there: but after two years finally we've managed to do our dreamt travel: a US road trip.

PHILOSOPHY

Oh, that is the difficult question, I imagine! Fourty years aren't really enough to build a personal philosophy, but I guess that my bet is to build projects and follow them, enjoying not only the success -or failure- but the whole path. It's always about that: what you find is usually better than what you where looking for.

The best way to discover a country is to meet the locals -allá donde fueres, haz lo que vieres- and the CS2 Project makes it even easier to find new friends from all over the world. I couch, and I hope to be couched!
