ABOUT ME

Born Aegeen, raised Canadian, grew up a la Turca, spirited Mediteranean, feel like a Balkan.

I am cheerful as an Aegeen, polite as a Canadian, lazy like a Turk and living like a laid-back Mediteranean.

PHILOSOPHY

So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more dangerous to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf, I host, I surf, I host, I go for a drink, I take them out for a drink, I go for 2 drinks and drink two and than six and sometimes I can not even find my way home and my guests from miles away do it for me ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Member of CS and HC for more than 10 years.

One my best memories is when I was being hosted by a Argentian fortune teller in Barcelona speaking no english at all :)

The other one is being invaded by 7 Pols in my 45 m2 flat in Istanbul.

Intereses

Languages : I can speak 4 languages fluently when I am sober and up to 14 when I am drunk! ;)

Travelling: Not suprising in this platform I guess.
