I'm taking a break from science to learn Japanese and explore. Will be back in the UK soon to do a PhD.

ABOUT ME

I'm a university graduate who is currently residing in Japan to learn the language, about the culture and explore East Asia.

Interests

I like meeting people from all over the world, something I really like about university. I like trying new things (esp. food and drinks) and visiting places for better cultural understanding. I don't relax by doing nothing, I relax when I am on a train / bus / plane to my next destination. I love exploring places with or without a plan. Interests range from computing to kayaking and skiing to current affairs. I have a very obscure taste in music (any VNV Nation fans?)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Univeristy life in the UK was great - most of all the amazing discussions with friends who think.
Seeing China developing was awe inspiring.
Meeting incredibly friendly Turkish people.
