Hi, I'm Felix. I‘m from southern Germany but got stuck in the northern city of Hamburg for its beautiful people as well as its political and party scene. I love bikes for my daily trips and for travelling and developing cycling infrastructure is also my job. I am interested in a range of topics from music to literature to sports. I enjoy cycling, rockclimbing and mountaineering. I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking and camping.

I live with my girlfriend Linda in Wilhelmsburg, Europe's biggest river island. We eat mostly vegetarian, but don't mind other people eating whatever they like.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

To me, Couchsurfing is one of the best ways of traveling since it gives me the chance to get away from the tourist attractions (which look just like on the pictures) and the city centres (which look the same everywhere), meet the real people of another country and catch a glimpse of their daily lives. When I cannot travel, hosting people is a great way to return the favour and at the same time have some new input and some change in my daily routine. I love how I got to meet people over couchsurfing which I would otherwise never have got in contact with.
