ABOUT ME

Hey guys. :) We are Emmy and Fia, two girls in our mid-twenties, looking to couchsurf our way through Australia. We've been here for 6 months, saving up and now (once summer gets here, that is), we're about ready to leave our jobs and homes behind to do some serious exploring!

Our route will take us from Melbourne to Adelaide to Alice Springs to Darwin to Cairns and then down the East Coast, so we're hoping to combine traveling, finding places to stay and meeting awesome new people all in one go. Three birds, one stone and all that. :)

We're aware that we're new here and don't have any friends/references, but we can promise that we're friendly, responsible and trustworthy. Not huge party animals (though we're not opposed to a drink every now and then) and not very picky about most things in life. :) Give us a chance so we can get to know some people and you won't regret it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment we can only really participate by surfing and meeting people and introducing others to this amazing project, but once we're no longer travelers and are back home, we'd love to host some people ourselves!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We don't have any experience whatsoever with couch-surfing, we're dipping our toes in the water, so to speak, but we hope to get some experience really soon!

We're interested in more stuff that we could possibly list here, but randomly, uhm, traveling (obviously), reading, taking pictures, listening to music, watching TV-shows/movies, surfing the Internet, art, meeting people and seeing things and so much more. :)

Again, more than we could list, our interests range from fantasy to chick-lit, classical music over rock to pop. Basically we love everything. (Mostly, anyway. ;))

We suspect the most amazing things we've ever seen are some of the places we've visited: New York City, Florence, Sydney, etc etc.

We can help overcome one thing you always wanted to do but never thought you would, because that's what we did when we came here. And Dutch, since it's our mother tongue, but I'm not sure if that will help you much. :)
