About Me
I've just finished my final year studying European Studies in Trinity College Dublin and I am spending my last summer, before starting the big bad world of work, to do the Trans-Siberian Railway, something I have wanted to do since I was 14.
I don't know yet what that scary job is going to be, and it's actually something that I am not going to organize until I come back from my trip. I have been lucky enough to spend a lot of my late teens and early twenties travelling to far corners of the world and I want to cap off that period of my life travelling solo and doing the most ambitious journey I have attempted yet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Russia:
I am fluent in Spanish but I studied Russian as a minor language in university and although I can have basic conversation, it's not as good as I would like it to be. I also am obsessed with Russian culture. I have spent most of my time in university taking classes on Russian history, culture and media, and travelling to St Petersburg in 2017 was one of the best trips I have ever done. I would love to get to know all kinds of Russians living across the country so that I can gain a better understanding of this country and its amazing people.
Mongolia:
Mongolia is top of the list of countries that I want to travel to that I haven't been to yet. Me ad my brother had a competition to see who would get to travel there first. Looks like I win. It's a country I have read so much about yet still do not understand at all and I hope couchsurfing will help me comprehend this incredible country a little bit more, immersing myself in the Mongolian way of life.
