One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first time i travel abroad, i picked Singapore. I went and explore the city by myself for 3 days with only a map with me. That was the first time i experienced a totally brand-new transportation system and mixed-dormitory guest house concept which is totally different with the one in my country.
I often join in a group consists of bunch of strangers when traveling. I like doing it because it kinda give me a "break" from my routine, opportunity to meet new people and experience something new to keep life exciting.
My friend and I succeeded arrive in our hotel destination in Pattaya where the group from my office colleagues stayed during an office outing. Before arriving in Thailand, we had browsed everything we had to know about how to get to our hotel in Pattaya from the airport. After missing the bus stop, wondering around the city carrying our luggage in the night, asking people here and there and still had to deal with language barrier where only small amount of people there able to speak in english and read alphabet, we made it to the hotel. The experience boosted our confidence that we would be able to travel to the place that we want despite all the barriers, if we really want it.
