About Me
Hello, I am Friederike and live in Lübeck. Three years ago I tried couchsurfing for the first time and I am absolutely in love. It's the best way to discover other countries and meet awesome people. My experience so far is consistently positive and I look forward to gaining more experience and moments.
I enjoy spending my time outdoors in nature. I am sporty and I ride a lot of bicycles, I like to go hiking or do other sports activities.
I am particularly impressed by the sea. I grew up on the coast and the sea fascinates me every time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Reading totally relaxes me. I like to read historical novels or romance novels. Also, I'm a total fan of Harry Potter. I have read all the books several times and find the story just fine. I am eagerly awaiting my letter from Hogwarts ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Great trips with my bike. The Lake Constance, Elbe and Weser River, Baltic and North Sea, Kiel Canal.
Next stop: Göta Canal in Sweden =)
Update: The tour across Sweden was fantastic. 500kms of wonderful nature, great people and unique experiences. I liked the Göta Canal and the city of Hjo directly on Lake Vättern. The idea for the next holiday was born as well. Once around Lake Vättern. Whether by foot, bike or SUP, I have to think twice.
Teach, Learn, Share
We only have this one life and we should enjoy it to the fullest. Dare to do the things you want to do. Even if you are afraid. Afterwards, a dip in the cold water just feels very refreshing.
