ABOUT ME

Hey,

My name is Marie. I started to travel in 2012 across Europe by train, then I've spend 2 and half year between New-Zealand, Australia and Asia. That was a great experience.

After that I went back to France because I was missing my dog (who sadly died 3months ago).
Since then, I kept on going to travel but on a shorter period and started to work in Switzerland every winter as a bartender.

I love to travel and meet people. I like to discover the local life with them. It's why we're all traveling no?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used Couchsurfing a lot when i was travelling across Europe and it was really nice experience. Meet locals people help me to discover some places i wouldn't go. In the same time I discovered great personnalities I'll be glad to host in my place when I get back home to give them what they offered me while I was staying with them.

Speak about all and nothing : you, me, your experiences, your vision of life, your passion for fish or cooking, whatever.. or don't speak and enjoy the place and the moment.

I'm open mind. I like to discover new style of music I didn't know, new bands, above the locals. And I must say that I have a really bad memory.
About the book, I used to read a lot. I lost this habit but I'm working on it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hike the Tongariro volcano and Tasman glacier in New-Zealand.
Climbing Acatenango volcano in Guatemala.
Diving on great barrier reef in Australia or in cenote in Mexico.
All the amazing places and peoples over the countries I backpacked.
