Originally from Scotland, I’ve spent the last few years teaching English and traveling. For the time being I’m in Kiev, teaching English and learning Russian. I’m always planning my next adventures - whether it be a two day excursion next weekend or a 6 month hiking trip next year. I’m passionate about the outdoors and spend as much time as I can hiking and camping. So if you’re brave enough, you can join me on some winter Ukrainian camping expeditions! I studied classical violin at music college but in recent years I haven’t done much with it. Would be great to meet and learn from some other musicians. I am often busy with working and studying, but life is richer when you meet, connect, share and learn from others, so as well as giving a hand with free accommodation, I hope that it can serve a more meaningful purpose.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking and camping in Georgia and Armenia this summer, swimming in freezing mountain lakes, being chased by shepherd dogs, being invited by local shepherds to share their food, being woken in the middle of the night by drunken Karabakh men demanding money etc..
