I am a young women living in Amsterdam for now. I am currently studying for my degree in Sociology, which I find immensely interesting. Some extra information about me, I am passionate about my garden! I am one of the few blessed people to have a garden in Amsterdam and I am enjoying it every day. I have just sowed my grass and it has been a treat to see the little sprouts come up :)
I have been exploring the Middle East a lot, because of my interest in the region, the culture, the language and the people. It was an awesome experience to live in Cairo for half a year and travel around the region.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most fun in traveling to me is meeting new people and discovering new ways of living and the easiest way to do this is just to dive in and so move in! I find the concept of couch surfing very positive and definitely one of the perks of these modern times. I feel it is a great opportunity to experience another country from a home, in order to feel more at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer of 2014 I walked to Santiago de Compostela for 750KM. That was a lot of everything, very exiting, very tiring, very inspiring (and sometimes very boring..)!
