ABOUT ME

Oh, I don't know. I'm a directionless artistic type with new plans every week to live somewhere else and do something different. I have cats. I was a poet in college. A "celebrated" poet. Maybe I still am a poet. I don't know. I want to make perfume and sell it in a little shop.... And teach creative writing to junior college kids.... And I want to publish a memoir.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have no experience couchsurfing officially, but I have lots of unofficial experiences under my belt. And I'm generally good at talking to anyone about who they are and what they love about life. I'm also good at telling absolutely everything about myself to anyone who will drink with me. Because I'm a confessionalist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Em.... I have a degenerative eye disease, and I'm slowly losing my vision. Dealing with this disease has made me happier for the little things.... and it makes a lot of things more intense, so.... though I haven't done anything amazing, a lot of what I experience feels pretty amazing because my perspective has changed. I think my favorite thing was to stand on a rooftop in Brooklyn in the rain, and experience all those melty, muted colors.... I love New York City. Every trip I take there feels special.

What else? I've done a lot of interesting things, but they're of the Erica Jong nature, and I'll tell you those if we hang!

If we meet, I can teach you how to play the piano. I can also teach you palmistry. And Exsquisite Corpse writing!!! Now THAT is fun.
