I live next to Brussels (tram or train).

We are two persons, me and me little angel ! :-)

PHILOSOPHY

The older I get, the more I appreciate life. I try to do everything with passion, also the things that before were just ordinary to me.
Life is one big possibility ... and each moment we can only live once. This is also the way i try to educate my child : try to see the beauty in everything, and you will be so much happier.
Almost in everything we do, we make a choice - even if sometimes we don't realize while making it. Therefore, it is important that we contemplate the things we are doing ..
All emotions are beautiful, and there is a lesson to be learnt from every tear. So that next time, our smile can be bigger.

I like to see something good in everything. There's really no use to seeing bad things all the time ...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope my guests will remember something about me, the things we've done together, the time we spent, ... Because that's what I carry home in my heart as a guest : not only the places I've seen, but also the people who were so generous to let me couchsurf in their lives and in their hearts. Some of them stay in my heart and in my live a little longer than others ;-)
Please note that i am vegan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (re)discovered this project just recently and it has already affected my life in a very positive way. It allows me to get to know very interesting people, people that otherwise I would never have met. This is awsome. Coachsurfing for me is a window to the world. I believe it makes me a better person.

Travelling, sitting in my garden late at night, having my feet in the sand, reading, hear a fountain, smelling grass after it has been mowed, laughing together with my daughter, bio food, talking with interesting people, ...
and more generally, pretty much anything that can add some adrenaline to my life. I like activities that make me feel alive.

I could write something here like 'skydiving' or so, like some people do, and yes i did that, but it was not the most amazing thing i did.
The most amazing thing is just to be alive.
I think we massively have forgotten to be amazed by the 'normal' things in life. I mean the things that make a child smile / make a child be curious.
Be a child in my house !! :-)

And now i think about it, the most fabulous thing i did actually was delivering my child into this world :-) :-)

When you come to Belgium, I will be glad to tell you things about our country, and advise you about things you must have seen. But also and more important, you'll be a part of my family while you're staying at my place. That means that hopefully we'll also talk about other things then just touristic attractions.

We like to eat with our guests (this is not an obligation for you, of course). We really love making you feel at home and cooking you a meal the first night. We are not a restaurant or a hotel, though ... A little help is much appreciated. I do have my family life, so you can help us cook/doing the dishes/buying the groceries, ... NO freeloaders please ! Please note that not respecting the basic house rules will be mentioned on your profile to warn other hosts, thanks !
