Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see new places and meet new people.
ABOUT ME
Love traveling above all else, but it's not always easy to facilitate and that's what I love about this site. Enjoy meeting new people, random conversations and the outdoors. Enjoy climbing the hills in Scotland and being out and about. More than happy to show people round this wonderful country.
PHILOSOPHY
We live to learn through personal choice and the experiences that result from the consequences of our choices. Try to see the positive in everything and every situation. Hate the "us and them" mentality that is stirred up the world over. Every country has it's share of average people, exceptional people and idiots. We are all one and the same. There's no "us and them".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am happy to chat to people, answer questions, be on the end of the phone for anyone stranded or in need of help, take people out and about for walks, cycling etc, I can put people up if I have space.
I should point out that now that it's March, I am receiving an average of around 10 emails a day, requesting couches. I lead a busy life and there is absolutely no way that I can read, let alone reply to all of these emails. In the summer, it will be even more, perhaps close to 50 a day. Please don't be offended if I don't reply.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted quite a few people now and my experience has generally been that the people I have hosted have been pleasant, interesting and thoughtful. As yet, I have not couchsurfed, but hope to at some point.
Interests
The outdoors...any excercise out of doors is when I am at my happiest. Seeing new places, meeting new people, currently work full time, studying and mother to two, so not too much time for hobbies, but keen to learn more about photography and get back into painting.
