About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to experience the world in every which way possible. I want to visit places that I have never been before, meeting people that I would not have been able to meet otherwise, and immerse myself in the cultures of the different places I visit.
ABOUT ME
Oh boy, I'm not really good at talking about myself but here goes nothing...I am a senior at Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota USA. I love what I do. I am majoring in Cinema and Media Studies with a concentration in the French language and hope to move to France to pursue a career in photography. I love travelling. I have studied abroad twice in the time that I have been at school and although it was hard living on a student budget, I managed nonetheless. After going to school in the middle of nowhere I am ready to be back in a city where I belong. I miss New York more than anything while at school (especially New York bagels and pizza!) I am an outgoing individual that loves to be around people. By the end of my life I want to know at least 6 languages.
PHILOSOPHY
Life has its ups and downs. When things aren't going my way, when I don't have a pot to piss in, I know that no matter what, things fall into place. I keep telling myself this, and thankfully I have been okay until now. You have to enjoy and live life to its fullest, no one else is going to do it for you. Be open minded, agree to disagree, and take the time to get to know people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Personally, I have never couchsurfed before. I have stayed at a couple of people's apartments while abroad but I knew them through friends so it wasn't really quite the authentic couchsurfing experience. A really good friend of mine couchsurfed quite a bit when she was studying abroad in Denmark and told me that she had an awesome time with the people that she was staying with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attending distortion in Copenhagen. It is quite possibly the craziest most amazing experience I have ever had. It wasn't just about getting drunk and dancing. It was being immersed in a sea of people you did not know and letting go for a couple of hours in the streets of Copenhagen.
