ABOUT ME

I'm a modern languages student at the University of Manchester, studying German and Chinese. I've lived and worked in Germany and loved every minute of it. I am currently living and studying in China to improve my Chinese. It's turning out to be the best experience of my life so far.
Having seen a little bit if China, I can't wait to travel around and see more, hopefully around other parts of Asia, too.

PHILOSOPHY

Do what you love; forget everything else.
I tend to make decisions depending on what would make me happiest, but not in a selfish way, as if others are unhappy it's redundant; but I think the point of life is to be happy.

兴趣

Learning new languages and about different cultures, meeting new friends, film in general but I love German films especially and British comedy. Stand-up comedy is another love, white-water kayaking, seeing my friends as much as possible as we're all living in different parts of the world at the moment.

Hundreds of books and I'll generally read anything.
German films such as Die Fetten Jahre Sind Vorbei, Keinohrhasen and Zweiohrkueken, Die Welle etc.
I love metal music, I'm a regular at Download Festival in the UK but also love Kings of Leon and similar bands, and again German music such as Xavier Naidoo.
