ABOUT ME

Hello - I'm Will, I'm a seasoned Couchsurfing host from Central Otago who now lives in the city of Wellington. I work weekdays in a role that I adore and I have a 2 bedroom apartment in central Wellington. I love the arts, cafe and restaurant life that Wellington offers and I look forward to hosting some interesting people this year for 1 or 2 nights. It should go without saying, but, I welcome any nationality, religion, sexuality, gender.

I often have friends visiting so if that's the case then surfers get the sofa or spare mattress on the floor and the guest gets the spare room - otherwise the room is yours. I'm in a role that means I have to travel so I like not to plan too far ahead and ideally only a couple of nights stay.

PHILOSOPHY

Ships in the harbour are safe but that's not what ships are for.

I moved from Cumbria, UK to the magical islands of New Zealand in 2003. After a wine or two I might share some stories. However, in 2014 I had a five month trip to Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Japan and the UK.

Always keen to know how to cook new things from your part of the world. Just bought a ukelele to irritate my friends with.
