About Me

I love meeting new people, talking about random this endlessly, and learning new things! Sounds pretty generic, eh? Let's try that again...

I like music, I play guitar and I'm interested in making my own music. Itćs going slow, though.

My bachelor is the Arabic language, literature, and culture, although I'm doing nothing related to that...it could have been a mistake studying that, but oh well! It sure was fun!

I am currently trying to become a front end web developer. Any advice would be more than appreciated, haha.

I'd also like to say that I like a lot of boring stuff. Such as saving the planet. Yeah, a lot of people think that's boring and hard to think about. But here's a chance to promote actions such as having your own bag instead of buying those plastic bags, and actions such as thinking before you do certain things!

I'd like to volunteer in a green organization let's say, like the one I've recently seen a Ted talk about called Trees for Life, which is a charity. You can find the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDtsExXe93Q

So there, that's more than enough! Cheers, people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I've mentioned earlier, I love traveling and meeting new people. Being from a small city, the first time I encountered someone who's not from Serbia made me want to know everything about everyone!

Couchsurfing gives the option of doing that in an easy and fun way.

My friend and I had an idea to travel to the surrounding countries together and couch surf but unfortunately, we never did that. So, I'm kind of doing it on my own now!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Rock, grunge and so on: Audioslave, Red Hot Chili Pepers, Soundgarden (<3), Pearl jam, Aerosmith, Kings of Leon, Eagles of the Death Metal, Manu Chao, Greenleaf............I really love this kind of music.....

Metal: Lamb of God, Mastodon, Metallica (yeah, they're still ok), Wolfram, Down, Andy James and Sacred Mother Tongue, and so on...open for suggestions...

I like music in other languages, even ones I don't understand....here's some examples: Mashrou Leila (Lebanon), Riff Cohen (France, Israel), Natalia Lafoucarde (Mexico), Tribalistas (Brazil), and so on....

Books: To be honest, I don't read a lot...not nearly enough....my focus is really bad, but I do like books: Game of Thrones, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, The Stranger, Master and Margarita, Bram Stoker's Dracula and so on...

Movies! Yay! I've seen a ton....I will maybe upload the names of some here some day....I really don't feel like doing it now....I will only say that the most of my daydreaming as a child was caused by Lord of the Rings....I still believe that I should visit New Zealand just because of that....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit a job I didn't like and that made me feel really bad about myself. I know it's nothing special, but it felt really amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure what exactly am I supposed to put into this section, but regarding teaching and learning I can say that I love learning new things, and that my interest are pretty broad. For an example, I could easily start doing carpentry and pottery, but also I'm interested in front-end web development. The sky is the limit!

Regarding teaching and sharing...I've taught English to kids and adults and Serbian as well, while I was volunteering in a refuge aid organization in Belgrade...which was also pretty cool...and amazing! :D
