About Me

Hi,
There three things that describe my the best.
The first one is travelling but not just moving myself from one place to another by public transport and sleeping in hotels, it is quite boring.
For me travelling is being tired after 15 km of walking in order to reach a good hitchhiking spot on petrol station, meeting people who give you a ride after 3 hours of waiting on petrol station situated on a desert in Spain and listening their life stories and finally reaching a picturesque beach, with cristal blue water surrounded by cliffs where I can dive. (I'm quite exageratting the thing :p but then it is easier to understand) Simply enjoying each second of life.
My second love is jazz music. This shit is as profund as travelling.
I play a guitar. I use to play a concerts with featuring my music or jazz standards.
The last thing I'm dedicated to is medicine.
These three things are my addiction

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For sure CS it is all about meeting people and the best way to expirence the place I stay. But I have also a second reason why I'm here.
Since I started hitchhiking with my backpack and tent I've recived enormous amount of help from people. They have made my trips so easy. I'm here too help the lonely travellers when they will visit my city. We all know how expensive travelling could be. We all know that feeling when by mistake during hitchhiking you are stuck in the city and acommodations cost 40 euro for night or when you are in the middle of nowhere in Spanish province it is getting colder and darker and sleeping in the tent seems not to be a good idea.
People help me. I help people.

Interests

When travelling try to discover local art. I try to reach the roots of society through talking with people and asking them to share they thoughts abut place they live in. Participating in any local concert always seems to be a great idea.

Music, Movies, and Books

The Wytches, Neil Young, Elliot Smith, Nick Drake and whole jazz stuff
-Joe Henderson, Charles Mingus, Miles Davies, Duke Ellington and whole Polish Jazz scene
My favourite books are thoose written by Franz Kafka and Bukowski. Now I tend to read a lot of medical stuff, but I'm also into reading some modern history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It is super hard to tell. But I think that I'm very proud of starting hitchhiking with a tent. For me it was hard to believe that I made all the way from Madrid through Lisbon up to Algarve and back only hitchhikinhg. I was overwhelmed by the help I recived from drivers and hosts. I slept in the tent and swam in the ocean. I realised that the less I have the more I happy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm studying medicine on Medical University of Warsaw and now I'm on an exchange in Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I could share my music and music of my country. I would be happy to talk with a host about society, political situation, history and get to know what he or she thinks about his surrondings.
