Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student at Indiana University Bloomington studying how communication happens in the brain. In my spare time, I swing dance, go to the opera, and write about zombies. I love meeting new people and discovering what we can learn from each other.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe experiencing any place is more real when you can see it through the eyes of someone who lives it. While my current living situation prevents me from doing so, I hope to be able to return the favor some day.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to read a lot of non-fiction that treads on the topic of meaning in life or philosophy of mind, both because I'm personally invested in the topic and because it ties into my dissertation research. But I'm trying to find more time for fiction, and especially the classics because my STEM education deprived me of that.
