I am a twenty-one years old boy from Poland! I am a pilot, but currently flying and studying to become a commercial pilot for an airline! 👦👨‍✈️

Becoming an airliner pilot is my life's biggest goal and dream. For the last thirteen years, my life has been focused on learning and working hard to make my dream come true. I am open-minded extrovert, who loves people, working and keeping in touch with them. New, difficult challenges and gaining new competences drive me to 'fly' for my dreams! I love danicng Macarena and eating different food! 💘

Last year I was granted a huge financial help, which made a significant difference in my life. I became a science scholarship holder and I was given one the highest scholarships in Poland, being highlighted as one of 23 holders out of over 1,500 applicants. Thanks to the scholarship, I started the 0-ATPL(A) modular airline pilot licence program in LOT Flight Academy - one of the leading Polish flying schools - fully owned by LOT Polish Airlines, officially called Polish Flying Academy SA. I have already finished the first part and obtained my first pilot licence for small, General Aviation planes. I continue my aerial trainings with a great hope to pilot Boeings or Embraers in the next 2 years! 🧑‍✈️

Since I was seven, I was working and learning hard to get closer to my aviation dreams. I have won a few countrywide competitions and I have created a project called “Don’t be afraid of flying”, where I was talking about safety in aviation at events organised by me and radios. When I was 16, the rector of University of Opole, after recognizing my level of knowledge, invited me to present and explain the Boeing 737NG’s cockpit and safety systems for aviation students. Also, last year, I was living in Iceland, working for Icelandic national airline - Icelandair! 🌋

Besides flying, I love travelling! I have visited already 40 countries and flown with 35 different airlines! I love meeting new people, cultures, trying different meals, food. When I travel, the most important for me is to disover new place by 'local eyes'. I like touristic places, but I prefer to see the typical local life, habits and to experience (short) living in the place where I go! I have studied for a while in two schools in the United Kingdom: Ampleforth College and Jesus College of Univeristy of Oxford. In 2022 I lived in Keflavik, Iceland and in 2023 for a month in Malaga, Spain. ⭐

Also, for the last 4 years I ocasionally work as the international tour leader for travel agencies, guide for some places and long-haul coach assistant. I did over 200 national and international trips with groups of 20-140 people! I organise trips for travel agencies around the country and abroad. I coordinate the work of drivers and guides, I am responsible for the schedule, passenger safety, organizing everything in accordance with the sightseeing plan. I have carried out over 200 trips, which gives us over 9,500 satisfied customers. Three years ago I created a series of projects "Don't be afraid of flying" from scratch. I offered programs for those who are afraid of flying. I organized stationary events in cooperation with radio and TV stations and travel agencies, which were in the form of lectures and workshops, during which I overcame people's fear of flying. I organize trips on request for those willing. I take care of everything from A to Z. I look for and buy tickets (including airline tickets), I look after the matters of passports, visas, transport, accommodation, sightseeing. I have already organized trips to Spain, Sweden, Norway, Great Britain, Germany, France and Italy. Sometimes I combine what I do with the project "Don't be afraid of flying" and take a person with fear of flying to the plane, explaining everything from the moment they enter the airport. I help with packing, I explain each phase of flight, the systems of the machine and the influence of flight physics on the human body. 🙆‍♂️

💭 For my potential host: I am calm, I don't wake up in the night, don't go to toilet and don't make any noises. 💤 I don't snore nor talk at night. 😴 I love to keep my area tidy and to have everything sorted and well organized. 🧹 I don't go to parties in night, don't go to sleep really late and don't wake up late in the middle of the day. Also, I don't drink, don't smoke and I don't have any addictions (besides planes ✈️ haha)! See you soon! 🤗

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I usually sleep in my friends' places or... I book an accommodation in hostels/hotels. 🛏️ However, it doesn't meet my needs to discover and experience the World, cultures and local people! My best friend and I decided to create Couchsurfing accounts to explore and learn more from different amazing places. I really want to meet you, to meet you culture, habits and even dailyness in foreign city or country! 🍵 I am completly sure, that I will explore any destination more, when staying with local, even if you will just tell me about the life there!
Also, once my flat in Warsaw is ready to host Couchsurfers, you are welcomed! I can't wait to host you and show you around if I have free time! 🌍

Oh I love pop, house and all songs simmilar to Macarena! I love Macarena, Asereje, La Bomba! That's my party vibe! 🎵 My favorite movies are Inside Out by Pixar and Zootopia by Disney, as they show dreams and how important it is to go for them! I love La Casa De Papel, Stranger Things, Ice Age, Cars, Planes by Disney! 🎥

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At the age of 15, I flew to the Airbus Toulouse factory alone, not having money or accommodation! 🧒 In December 2018 I decided to fulfill my huge dream of visiting the Airbus aircraft factory in Toulouse, France. I did not have the funds to do it, a guardian who could fly with me, a place to stop in Toulouse nor the possibility of enter the factory. The level of my mobilization and determination was so enormous that despite so many adversities - I decided to make my dream come true. I contacted a distant family in France (they spoke only French). They agreed me to stay overnight, pick me up from the airport and take me to the factory. The next step was to flood Airbus with a pile of messages asking to enter the factory. They agreed! I wrote 137 letters to companies and organizations in Poland and around the world asking for financial support. There were 136 refusals and just one was success! In February 2019, I flew alone to Toulouse with transits in Frankfurt and Munich. I visited the entire factory and entered the final-assembly lines of Airbus A380 and Airbus A350 aircraft families! ✈️
