Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Currently I can not host since I don't have adequate means for it, but I'm hoping one day I will start hosting as well.

To try something new. As a student of Tourism it is a natural thing for me to travel.
I believe lot of people, especially recently due to Instagram and networks alike seeing the flashy pictures of luxurious vacations miss the point of tourism. Tourism isn't about ourselves. It never was. It is about melting yourself with the locals and the local culture. Learning something new, taking the small pieces and being grateful about it. To see how things work down there, or up there. Wherever. Whenever.

Never done Couchsurfing before, I believe that, in it's core, the CS is the essence of tourism.
