About Me

Im a neurobiology student from Slovakia, I can cook some decent pasta but I actually put tuna in it which is a turn off for many people.
Some people sometimes laugh at things I say. Its nice when I mean them as a joke which is totally like 70% of the time. Other than that I have been told that I am pretty efficient at solving minor disputes (ex. between colleagues) by using psychological techniques meant for children (fun fact: these techniques usually don't work on children).
Im average looking with thinning hair so that sucks. UPDATE (2017): hair is thinning even more so I decided to shave it but now Im regretting that decision since my head has a really weird shape.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just generally dislike the business side of accommodation services. You arrive, you are shown your room, checkout is at 11am, here are the keys, bye. I totally get that airbnb is a legit form of making some money on the side, it just feels like you are so close to staying with locals but at the same time you dont get the chance to learn anything about the people living at where you are staying. Just a nameless stranger invading the privacy of their residential area or house or whatever. It may sound cliche and you may find this in every profile but the reason why Im on CS is to experience the city and meet some people eager to share their stories.

Interests

Well I like music of all sorts, I play the guitar.
I also like sports, mostly football, hockey or cycling. I do like skateboarding too but that is not really a sport.
Other than that Im pretty passionate about science - more specifically neurophysiology but anything that falls under biology is something I want to learn about and can talk about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like classical Jazz music. In this sense Im kinda like Ryan Gosling in LaLa land - although Im not that charming (damn he was charming). Other than that I listen to almost everything hiphop, some old and new rockandroll, indie, alternative, everything,
Movies, well lets say I liked Dunkirk in IMAX - that was amazing. If you didnt see it yet just get up and go right now. I also watch a lot of festival movies but I guess its pretty pointless to name those.
Im a fan of Archer and Rick&Morty (who isnt right) and House of cards.
Books: I like to read biographies or any sorts of history books recounting events from the 20th century. Man was that a crazy century.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a rock band and our song has 215 plays on soundcloud. I also managed to force my girlfriend to become my girlfriend. That might be my greatest achievement because man she is at least 2 leagues above.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to cook my amazing pasta. I would like to learn how to cook something you find amazing. And we can share those meals I guess (if youre into tuna). Other than that Im ready to share my passion for nature. Most people like nature and its really cool when you can trade fun facts. And nature is without a doubt the absolute best source of fun facts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My expertise on where to eat very cheap food in the cities of Prague and Bratislava.
Also where to drink good beer in the cities of Prague and Bratislava.

I also know some cool facts about nature.
