About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy the little things!

ABOUT ME

People say I'm quite a funny person with specific sense of humour (sometimes very sophisticated but on the other hand quite black). I'd describe myself as a sociable party fellow who, unfortunately, hasn't been done with his studies yet. While I major in international trade at school, I've been working for a marketing department of a big multinational corporation. Combined together, it's a challenge that results in a light heart attack from time to time, but who would like a life without any spice, right? When there's a bit of free time, I love to spend every second by doing anything adventurous, e.g. travelling with my friends, exploring new places, foreign cultures, other lifestyles, tasting new cuisines...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS in 2012 when I spent few weeks in beautiful Portugal. Incredibly warm-hearted people I met there via CS made me want to continue with getting to know more members of this cool community. So I was nicely hosted several times in Hungary and Italy after that and must admit it was always a great experience. In return, I accomodated some of my hosts in Prague or at least spent some time by guiding them around when it wasn't in my power to offer a place to sleep.

Interests

I really love music, enjoy hearing it as well as performing it in any form - singing, playing the piano. A big dream of mine is to found an acapella group.
My further hobby is learning of foreign languages and improving my knowledge with native speakers. I find it useful since it allows me to conquer still bigger and bigger part of the world.
I'm glad if I find someone who is ready to travel with me, especially if this person likes hiking and camping and is willing to experience anything adventurous, not just to spend the whole journey at the hotel resort by the swimming pool.
What really makes me happy are my friends. I love to meet them in pubs or throwing parties, picnics in parks etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't stick to any particular genre of music, am able to listen to nearly anything. Like to browse Youtube randomly and explore new bands and musicians. My taste of music continuously develops so there're no specific adjectives that could describe it. Lately, I've been discovering electronic music, especially do I like minimal electro.
I used to read a lot (now, overloaded with the shitty economic literature for school, I'm glad when there are few months I don't have to bother with any book). I've read plenty of classical pieces and wouldn't mind to take up more, but if I should choose something modern, I'd go for genres like fantasy, horror or sci-fi.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you facts you didn't know about Czech Republic, teach you some card games, teach you how to drink "bouchaná" shot, give you some advices about cool places to visit within Europe and many more. We would definitely figure some more stuff out together.
