ABOUT ME
I'm a PhD student in philosophy at Warsaw University (Poland).
I am quite a serious person but also very open-minded. I love to learn about places where I go and people who I meet.
I live with my girlfriend - she is a radio journalist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can host two persons in quite nice conditions. if three - it would be tight on the couch.
I can also point out places worth visiting in Warsaw.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was surfing in Far North Russia in 2013 and it was a great experience. I learned a lot from my hosts and I am really grateful to them!
As for hosting - I have some experience. It's a pleasure to help people who want to see your city!
Interests
Since summer 2013 (my travel to Vorkuta and Salekhard - which is Russia Far North) I'm interested in the Arctic! I would like to visit numerous cities and places above the Arctic Circle and enjoy such phenomena as northern lights, midnight sun and polar night.
As for my studies, I'm interested in philosophy of religion and religious studies. Especially in philosophical meaning of new evolutionary approach in studying religious phenomena.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really admire ethnic music from places where I was, where I go and visiting of which I am dreaming of.
So, I like:
- some Ukrainian rock bands and Ukrainian folk music
- throat singing of Tuva Republic
- Vysotsky's songs
- Soviet and Russian songs about the Arctic
- Armenian ethnic music (especially pieces of Gasparyan)
- And so on...
I also love classic movies of Leone (outstanding "Once Upon a Time in the West" is my favourite one!), Coppola, Forman, Kusturica, Tarkovsky, Kobayashi, Kramer, Lumet and others. I also like some polish movies, especially those directed by Smarzowski.
As for books, I admire Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky.
