Overview
About Me
I'm Filipa and I'm studying Biomedical Engineering in the beautiful city of Oporto :D
I'm passionate about sports and I hope to work in the area of health and technology one day :) Besides, I can't stand spending too much time at home and I love to visit new places :) Even in Oporto there's always something I can try for the first time!
I travel to new places everytime I can afford i, with my parents or friends, I would like to do an Interrail in the next two years and I'm going in Erasmus soon :) So, I think can say I'm a bit addicted to travelling :P
Besides, I love photography and I would like to have time one day to create a page about travelling, where I could post my photos during the trips I already made.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favourite and the most beautiful places in Oporto are not the common and most known ones. So, from personal experience, I believe that the locals are the ones that are more capable of enriching a travelling experience, everytime we go to a new place :) They are the one who can, better than anyone, show me the best of their city. For me, talking and get to know people by living in their home is the right way to do it, experience the maximum of each place.
Besides, it's cool that I can save some money in order to travel more next time :P
