Hey! My name is Filipe and I'm a portuguese student. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years playing videogames in my free time, but around a year ago, I decided I wanted to stop spending my time with that. I don't judge anyone who does, but I feel that I could do better. So I joined a gym, tried to eat better (became a vegan, then just veggie), started reading more and hopefully this will lead to me living a more active and fun life!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently in the second year of college, but I'm not feeling like I wanna spend my next 10 months doing the same thing I've been doing for my whole life. I want something different. Something new. So I searched a bit and decided I probably wanna try road tripping. And Couchsurfing will definitely help me in accomplishing that dream. I hope I can meet new and great people during my journey, and maybe discover a something new about myself as well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Despite not being amazing, I really enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter. It was fun, and I felt that I was making a real difference. I hope my road trip will be the next amazing thing I do!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life experiences, what life is like in Portugal, our culture, I can teach Portuguese! I can teach some programming, since I'm experienced in some languages. I can also share some veggie recipes.
