About Me
Hi all,
Starting with the basics - I'm Filip, a recent King's College London graduate working in product. 🚀
Not gonna lie; living in London can be crap at times, so I pack a backpack and fly away a few times a year. I've fallen in love with low-cost travelling, backpacking, and pretty much anything adventurous. Nevertheless, it's better in two (or more), so here I am. CORRECTION: London - screw you. I've spontaneously left and am travelling the world right now.
I can talk for hours about travelling, startups, and the general meaning of our lives. I've got some damn crazy stories to tell you about, mostly from the caving I used to do in my home country. And ancient astronaut theorists say I'm a pretty decent chef as well, so I'm not afraid to show you my cooking skills. 🧑🍳
Favourite countries: Spain or Norway (couldn't decide)
Now: Bali
Next to visit: Thailand
Currently learning: SQL data analytics (blah) and Spanish
Tripple-vaxxed, so we can call Bill Gates via my 5G microchip. 👽
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to meet some cool folks travelling around our blue marble in space. I'm down to share a meal together (or maybe hit the road together instead?), make friends and do my part to bring the world closer together :)
Interests
I am a very adventurous person who feels the best outside the comfort zone when seeking discomfort and making memories ✈️
Music, Movies, and Books
Kubla Khan by Samuel Taylor Coleridge:
"In Xanadu did Kubla Khan
A stately pleasure-dome decree:
Where Alph, the sacred river, ran
Through caverns measureless to man
Down to a sunless sea. "
Also, I enjoy Dale Carnegie's works, and I'm in love with Kygo. 🌴
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I graduated from high school, I booked a flight to London for the following day. I packed a small backpack (pretty much just a sleeping back), and I arrived in London with no accommodation booked, no plans, no friends, and about £80 in savings.
Now, this is my 4th year living in the city (left it already anyway hah).
Was it tough? Yes. Do I regret it? Absolutely not. Would I do it again? Absolutely not. ✌️
