Overview
About Me
Hi :) I am a student of Serbian philology who likes to listen more than to speak. I like to combine clean eating and weightlifting (although I don't look much like it) with gaming, listening to metalcore music and drinking pirate beverages.
I recharge my batteries while alone but enjoy chatting with people I don't know when fully recharged. Although not talkative, I enjoy conversations that are lead by somebody more extroverted than I am.
I love languages, especially Slavic ones, and trying to find connections between their systems. I love mountains for their majestic, untouched beauty and hiking in remote areas in general. I don't like touristic locations and crowded places.
Unfortunately, with my girlfriend, we can not accomodate anyone in our home because our flat is rented.
I. Love. Honeybadgers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling and discovering foreign countries, cultures and people's spirits but my personality makes it hard to spontaneously create new connections, thus hiding quite big parts of what I am trying to discover.

Music, Movies, and Books
"My music" is hardcore and metalcore, I grew up on punk.
My absolutely top director is Quentin Tarantino. True Romance, oh my god!
As for books, the list would be endless. I grew up on Tolkien's and other fantasy books, gradually moving onto the classics, eventually falling in love with E. M. Remarque, especially his war-themed books. My absolute favourite is his Flotsam. During my studies, I also got really close to Serbian literature, with Radoje Domanović, David Albahari or Ivo Andrić being my favourite authors.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have joined Couchsurfing to fight my fears.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd be really happy to chat with you about Slavic languages, I think I have quite a lot to share in this regard. I can teach you some basic Serbian or Czech.
We can also talk about Balkan's really turbulent history, if that's what interests you.
I can show you some stuff in a CAT tool called Memsource.
Czech beer is something I am quite experienced with so we can do some beer tasting. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I don't know... local beer? Tips for books, hikes in Czechia?
