About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Become a cosmopolitan individual :-)

ABOUT ME

Oh dear! Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be late said the rabit when he grabbed his watch in Alice in Wonderland.
Well, I'm not the principal star in some kind of fary tale but I think this saying might count for me.
Time is not on my side as I have way too much things to explore, way too many things I want to master & way too many people I wanna meet. This includes as well meeting people from cultures abroad/other languages, reason why I am satisfied this website exists.
You might sometimes see me running from work to evening classes, a physical torture at the fitness or chasing towards a catch up drink with friends. Once home, I leave the hectic lifestyle and recharge batteries. :-)
If your staying hasn't been planned in advance, I might not be able to spend all time together. You can count on my hospitality though, some precious advice/tips and some drinks/visits in the city if time allows it.
I have been living in Brussels for 3 years now, which includes 1.5y in my own flat. I'm not as competent as an historical city guide but have been able to experience Brussels enough to pass the knowledge on. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Shoot for the moon and if you miss you'll still be among the stars!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Due to lack of time to travel, I have almost exclusively been hosting since my subscription. I might believe that hosting can be a good alternative to meet other cultures if you don't have time to go & feel the vibe abroad.
I'll start new evening classes in September so there's a big chance my travel ambitions in the coming months will stay limited.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before I subscribed to CS, I did stay with good friends in Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam. As mentioned above, my travelling with CS stayed limited (to London UK). One got to keep hope so maybe there will be some time to travel in the short term. :-) All the hosting experiences I had were cool to dazzlingly super cool so will keep this going. :-)

Books: Once upon a time, I had a lot of time to read books. :-) It has been some time now but my favorite writer is Cecilia Ahern.
Music: A bit of everything
Movies: M not a massive movie fan. If my tellie could speak, he would sue me for neglecting him.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two summers ago! A French friend of me has a sailing boat and proposed me to join him with 4 other friends on an extraordinary 8 day boat trip. We crossed the Channel, stopped in small villages in Scotland, England ,Ireland and France to catch up with locals and enjoy magnificant sceneries. I enjoyed every single second of it!

Countries I’ve Visited
