我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing some yars ago but then I've always used other kind of accomodation. I really don't know why. Maybe because I didn't do real "journeys".

The truth is that I think the best way to travel is to meet local people, sharing and experiencing real life. I'm not searching a bed accomodation, but new friends and people to talk, play, travel, give something of me and be inspired by.

兴趣

I like to travel and I love to watch the colors of the skies different from mine. I like to speak and learn new languages, i love trying it with local people also if I'm not fluent.
I love photography and videos, I make both so I will ask you to make some picture.
I enjoy cooking Italian and international food, I'd love to cook, eat and drink with my hosts. I can make a delicious (and abundant) italian pasta with a lot of sauces!!!

I played many sports in my past, above all basketball and volleyball. I like seei it, play it, talk about it. I played also baseball, athletics, swimming. But then I quitted all those activities for my new love: martial arts. I begun karate 3 years ago and it changed my mindset, my way of thinking.

I've a passion for Asia and asian culture, but also for the hispanophonic world.
I play the guitar, the tambourine and everything can make a sound.

I've worked (also as voluntary) with handicapped people and I'm very sensitive to that argument.

音乐、电影和书籍

My favorite music is folk and reggae. Modena City Ramblers, Bandabardò, the Pogues, Massilia Sound System, Africa Unite. But I listen to a lot of music styles, incuded last radio pop songs. I'm interested to the ethnic and world music, of every part of the world. From Tinariwen of Mali, to Pizzica and Taranta of the south of the Italy, to Japanese Taiko, to Argentine Tango and Andean music.

I really like documentary movies, maybe because in the future I'd like to make one. Especially no-speaking movies, like Samsara, Koyaanisqatsi, Baraka. I like japanese style movie, like Takeshi Kitano and Takashi Miike. I love Paolo Sorrentino and his movies. Another director I like very much is Iñarritu.

I read a lot of books! Recently I found out all the beautifulness of Kurt Vonnegut's prosa and style. Cat's cradle and Sirens of Titan are two of the books that literally changed my life's vision. David Foster Wallace is another must-read writer of mine, as Cormac McCarthy, Jonathan Franzen, Yukio Mishima, Luis Sepulveda. On the italian side: Italo Calvino and Wu Ming.

9 months and 18.000 km travelled though China, Mongolia, Vietnam, Taiwan and Japan. Amazing experience.
