I am travelling around Europe, Middle East and the UK. Also, whenever possible my girlfriend and I travel together. When I run out if money I plan to work in the UK or Germany for a while, save up and travel again. I am Australian, born in Cairns, but I have lived in many places around Australia. I am hoping to learn as much as I can while traveling, and discover what the world is really like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just signed up to couchsurfing because I have heard a lot of interesting stories (good and bad, mostly good) from people who have done it. I am cautious about using couchsurfing, and I don't know what to expect. I hope to simply meet people who are interested in sharing their city or area. I also hope to save a bit of money, because I can travel for much longer and make the dream last.

Interests

This is a limited list of interests that should be constantly updated, and I think my interests change with every new experience. I love food and eating, so I will be keen to see this part of everywhere I go. I also love playing sport, for example rugby, soccer, volleyball, slackline, acro yoga, tennis, or anything that is a challenge. Being surrounded by nature, especially a river, brings me peace. The bush is where my heart is, and I grew up with tropical rain forests.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of the most interesting things about seeing so many different people is just how similar we all are. But I enjoy it when I learn something unusual (to me) about a person or their culture. Getting to know local people is sometimes hard when you only speak English, so I try to learn a some language from everywhere I go. But I cannot have a conversation without English unfortunately. If I can help someone with language I would love to.
