About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To find the far edge of town where the grickle grass grows
ABOUT ME
Vancouver is my new home after three years of bicycle travel in Europe and North America. What better time to start chipping into my karmic debt by hosting some wayward travellers in this cozy nook of the city.I like to think I am a pretty earthy, kind, gentle sort of person. Having said that I also like to think that meerkats will inherit the earth after the next great extinction, so I'll let you be the judge. In certain situations I can be hit-me-over-the-head-with-a-shovel shy, and on other occasions I can be hit-me-over-the-head-with-a-shovel silly. Mostly I am somewhere in between, but either way, try and keep a shovel on hand.
PHILOSOPHY
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..."
â Dr. Seuss

Riding a bicycle is worth a go...
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a bit of a plant geek, and can teach you about growing plants, permaculture, gardening, composting, etc. I am also really into music and would love to continue learning guitar and other instruments. I volunteer at a bike co-op, which is a great place to be if you want to develop your bike mechanic skills. I love learning all sorts of things, usually through experiences, sometimes through books.
