About Me

I'm trying to find my own way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had a very nice CS encounter with Francisco in Portugal, in 2015. The interesting conversation with him definitely made up for the rainy weather in Lisbon on that day.

In the summer 2013, I travelled to Georgia and Armenia. The trip included two great Couchsurfing experiences - that at Kristina's in Kutaisi and that at Pam's in Erevan. They were completely different, but reflected the best features of this initiative - we were safe and calm at Kristina's and we spent a lot of quality time with her. Pam's place was a Couchsurfing melting pot with lots of people constantly at her place - a great opportunity for interesting meetings.

In August 2012, I travelled to Lebanon. The trip was brilliant and that mainly thanks to the couchsurfers we met, who were probably the most hospitable people in the world. We even participated in a couchsurfing event - camping in the mountains at the Ibrahim river. It was truly unforgettable.

In 2011 I went to China with my friend Emilia. Thanks to couchsurfers we had a great insight into foreigners' life in Beijing, but also, in Shanghai, we had a chance to stay with Yvonne's welcoming family and try some true Chinese lifestyle.

In 2010 I've stayed with two couchsurfers, both in the UK and both from Italy. The short stay in Liverpool with Andrea was the best time of my entire holidays.

In 2009 I travelled with my friend Em around Eastern Europe. We visited some Lithuania, Russsia, Ukraine and Moldova. Couchsurfers helped us immensely, for example Renat from St Petersburg, who showed us the less visited parts of the city, or Tom, who made us feel great in Chisinau. In Odessa we had good fun with a group of French hosts.

In 2008 I travelled with my friend Natalia around Balkans. We met many adorable people, helpful, welcoming, having a lot to tell about their countries.

I've had some CS guests staying with my family when I was abroad.
