Wow, I never cease to be amazed at the lessons that pop up whilst traveling, and the fun times, and the fantastic people. Just a bit a go I couldn't see the day i'd be slowing down and developing a base in my own country, but that times coming and i'm about ready to spend some time investing more consistently in the people and spaces around me. It's time to delve deeper into what I want to share and that requires a more permanent residency. But.. I have 6 more weeks of West Coastin' till my flight and I intend to make the most of this time connecting with people round these parts and involving myself in my passions.

I've surfed many a couch a couple of summers ago as I moved around Canada

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hadn't couch surfed until I got out to Canada but it's been an amazing tool not only for finding a place to sleep but also to meet a bunch of cool people. I have to say i've had an amazing time and so far I have: shared family time with my first host, been rescued from the rain at short notice by to two lovely ladies, talked art, design and life with a fellow Englishman and learnt a little salsa from a beautiful French girl, spent two weeks partying in Banff, climbed a really tall tree in Vancouver and lots lots more. Oh and that's not to mention having somewhere cosy to sleep each night. Thanks to everyone mentioned and thank you to CS.
