Hi,
My name is Finley and I am from Australia.
In my old career, I used to work for the Government as a Road Designer.
I eventually realized that a 9 til 5 office job wasn't for me, so I decided to escape the office and I began my Beach Lifeguarding career.
Since then, I have worked as a Beach Lifeguard in Australia and in Jersey (in the UK Channel Islands).
Recently, I decided to travel more, so now I work during the European summer and visit family and travel (mainly in Europe) in the winter.
This past winter, I gained my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification and spent time volunteering to teach English in Poland, which was a very rewarding experience as I got to meet with local Polish people.
This has broadened my travel experience, and has encouraged me to finally use my couch surfing account.

I want to meet local people and have local experiences. Couchsurfing seems like a great way to do this, and it also enables me to stay in some amazing towns and cities that I otherwise might not have been able to visit.

I like most music and can appreciate anything from Popular through to Classical.
Recently, I have enjoyed listening to Electro Swing.
My favourite movies would have to be James Bond Movies.
I currently like to read autobiographies and books which I can learn skills from.
