I'm Finn and 21 years young. One thing that I can definitely say about myself is that I'm honest. And when I'm honest now, I cannot find the right words to describe who I am, because I don't even know who I am and I'm still on the way to figure that out. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

... is, because I like to meet friendly people, get new impressions, share interests, stories and home. All that should be free and possible for people with a low budget, who want to see the world as well.

Interests

My greatest passion has always been music. I enjoy singing,
playing the piano, the clarinet and a wee bit of the guitar. Music is used by people to open up their hearts, to work through and understand things. Stevie Wonder once sung: "Music is a world within itself, with a language we all understand." The Cat Empire sung: "Music is a language of our soul." I totally agree by those quotes and believe that feelings and emotions are intelligible to all and connect people. I enjoy listening and singing-along to music but mostly to jam and sing with other people - sitting around bonfires, enjoying company, sharing stories, dancing, just having fun.

Cooking is my other big passion. When I cook alone I can relax, cooking with others is always good fun and informative as well. I abstain from animal products and meat. Reasons for that are that I feel conscientious about environmental protection, world hunger, animal protection, health, ethics and last but not least it tastes amazing.

Also I'd like to be self sufficient one day, using the ressources, that I've got, to make the best out of it. I dream of living in a village full of people where everyone has the same aim and everyone know each other and watch out for each other. In these days people live quite isolated, which I find kinda sad. But I believe that the world is changing and hopefully one day we can live in peace to create heaven on earth.

My spiritual horizon is getting bigger. At the moment I'm getting slowly into yoga and meditation, I'm happy to learn more about it and get deeper into it. I also believe in love and the best in a human.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen a lot to Xavier Rudd, Jack Johnson, Stevie Wonder, Matiu Te Huki, Cat Empire, Bob Marley, UB40.
I like movies, which make you think, or you have to watch them twice or more times to get the whole lot of it. I say no to horror movies and I don't like movies where you already know the end of the story before you've seen it, cause they're way too predictable.
The same applies to books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

... is probably that I've started traveling. Since then I've opened up my horizons, enjoyed life more and more and in my attitude to life is becoming more positive as well.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach obviously about all the stuff that I already know.
Also I'm quite hungry for knowledge and open to learn new stuff.
