ABOUT ME

16 THINGS about me!

1. If I have cookies around, I will eat at least one first thing in the morning, before breakfast.
2. I am very optimistic about my pessimism.
3. I believe you only see what you want to see.
4. I love chocolates, in anything and everything (Note: You can bribe me chocolates into doing almost anything).
5. When I was a kid, I would untie my shoes before taking them off, when all the others squeezed their feet out and then untied them before putting them on. Maybe they were expecting a nuclear war, so they could say to me, "Ha, you untied your shoes for nothing!"
6. When someone would ask what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said an architect. I don't think I really knew what I wanted to do, but having an answer kept the adults happy.
7. Yes, I am from Finland and no, I do not drink beer like water, live in an igloo and have a pet polar bear named Oliver.
8. I used to play Finnish baseball for 12 years. (Yes, it's a sport. A Finnish one. No, it isn't like American baseball).
9. If I had one wish, it would be to be able to sing really well.
10. I watched the movie Scream when I was 7 and after that it took me over a year to be able to be home alone without having all the lights on (read: ALL the lights on).
11. I don't like Big Brother but I'm still secretly watching it.
12. I don't really enjoy summer that much. +25 Celsius is waaaay too much for me. So if you wanna travel with me during the summer I hope you are ready for me complaining about the heat every 8th minute. Buy me an ice cream and it's all good.
13. I still consider Pluto to be a planet.
14. I can be quite emotional.
15. I don't believe in God but I do believe in faith somehow.. it just makes sense when I think about it.
16. I have a secret crush on every man with a British accent.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2013 my friends from Germany came to Joensuu and naturally I offered them my couch to sleep on. From Joensuu they were about to continue their trip to Helsinki and then to Sweden by Couch Surfing. I got curious about their way of travelling and after listening to their great stories about it I finally ended up creating a profile myself! And haven't regret it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Been couchsurfing in Gothenburg, Sweden and met really great people! Hoping to move there someday as I completely fell for that city!

Besides surfing I've stayed in Hungary for 4 weeks, Germany for 3 weeks and Greece for 1 week in wonderful wonderful families who I won't ever forget! That let me experience the country and the culture in a whooooole new way and I gotta say -I'm loved it!

Intereses

On my freetime I usually kill time by painting or drawing or playing guitar (mostly acoustic but sometimes I like to snap the electric one out of my friend's hands. ..) I dont really like admitting that I suck at it. I also LOVE photographing which I do quite often.
There are also times when I also do something less artistic like watching series or just hanging around town with my amigos!

Stuff that I hate; phone calls when I'm sleeping(!), eating when I'm sick and all that ..

My dream is travelling, wich I do quite a lot actually. I love diffirent cultures and nations and see how diffirent people really are. In a good way.

Música, películas y libros

Oh uhm there are so much stuff that I like umm..
well let's start with music:
I listen to.. everything really. You can put on Queen, Eminem, AC/DC, Rihanna or Slipknot or Bob Marley and I'll like it.
But if you let me to decide I'll probably make you listen to indie music at first. Something with good guitar strumming and lyrics that make you smile!

I enjoy drama, thriller and horror movies. The best movies are the ones that make you find new things from it every single time you watch it. For example Fight Club.
