Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Improving me, laughing as much as possible, painting pretty things and finding people I can converse with for hours on end.
ABOUT ME
I'm 22, a pre-school teacher/freelance photographer. I moved to Paris a year ago having finished my degree and now I can't leave!
I smoke far too much, am often paint-stained, have chronically bad hair and I love horses and musical people.
I'll talk to anyone, if you've got a tale to tell, I'll listen, :)
PHILOSOPHY
Sunshine, good people, colourful things and laughter. And preferably a pint of cold beer and a full pack o' smokes. If I got those things, life is good.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I return to living somewhere with a free couch I will definitely put it up for offer,
currently impossible alas.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing..
Well i've done it all around Ireland. After nights out when I don't have money for a taxi, when i've missed my train etc. etc. Always fun. And I've stayed on the couches of many friends in Germany, Italy, France..
I had a few people surf on my couch last year in Dublin, :)

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS! LOVE THEM. XD Zadie Smith is a personal fave at the moment, Flann O'Brien is an all-time hero. I loved Sarah Dessen when I was 12 and have never let that go. As far as books go, though I admire people who take out the theasaurus and use it well, I prefer when writers can take the small, simple, everyday words and turn it into something BEAUTIFUL.
Louis MacNeice is my poetic hero, check him out.
Music; ecclectic isn't the word. I am a trained classical pianist who grew up on a diet of Abba, Jimi Hendrix, Beastie Boys, JOhn Lee Hooker and Paul Simon (fed to her by respective family members) I also have a group of NIgerian friends that instilled a love of hip-hop in me and I love the techno! Can't beat the thumping bass, lights, neon fun times. Evvverryything.
P.S Spice girls and Britney also rock.
Movies.. Blues brothers, Empire Records, Me and you and everyone we know, The Royal Tenenbaums, THe little princess, erm, many.
Teach, Learn, Share
.. Hmm? I can speak some Irish, I can inform you that the Irish language is not called Gaelic, it's called Gaeilge, and Gaelic is in fact irish football. I also speak some french and italian? I don't really know. I can teach you how to use watercolours, or how to read a dublin bus timetable, or how to ride a horse if there's one near by, :) Many things.
