Hello beautiful people!

I'm a graphic design student from Germany. Currently, I'm living in New York City due to an internship at a graphic design studio, which is part of my studies. I'm a sociable, open-minded, respectful person. I want to explore as much of the United States as I can during my stay. I don't only want to explore places, I also want a real insight and meet people for cultural exchange.

This is the first time I'm using Couchsurfing and I'm pretty excited to meet new people through this way!

Interessi

I'm really into photography and design, and I'm very grateful that I can combine my passion with my job.
I also love cooking and food in general. Going to a good restaurant or to a nice cafe means enjoying life to the fullest. A healthy and natural lifestyle became more and more important to me in the last years. Parts of that are eating healthy, natural and fresh and also using natural cosmetics. If I drink alcohol, I drink beer but sometimes I also like cocktails, if they are well done. My bad habit is, that I love chocolate, cakes, candy, chai latte — just everything that's sweet. That's not easy, when you're trying to live healthy. But I found some good alternatives. As like most of the people in this world I enjoy it to travel and see new places, even though I'm not a big fan of flying. I like it to walk around unknown places and explore them through taking pictures. When I'm talking to people I try to be always a good listener. I try to not waste too much and to be as good to the environment as I can. That means no wasting of food, being a vegetarian and part time vegan, buying vintage clothes, reuse things, consume responsible, safe resources and be aware of my own influence in this world. Of course I'm not a hero, but keeping this in my mind is the first step.

Musica, film e libri

I love music! Unfortunately I can’t play music, but I love to listen to it and I also love dancing. I have a huge Spotify playlist to which I always add my fav songs. I love lots of different genres, but only picked out songs or artists of them. I don't listen to what's in the charts, I just listen to what I like or what I'm in the mood for.

Walking from beach to beach from one end to other of a small island in Thailand, which was 7 km long.

I enjoy it to cook, especially with good company and to try out new recipes and foreign kitchens. I LOVE everything that’s sweet! I know some nice recipes for brownies or cookies that I can share.
