About Me
I’m an outgoing adventurous girl from England exploring the world! I worked in London in Finance for 10 years and although I got a lot from that experience it ultimately made me quite unhappy. So in January this year I quit my job, sold or gave away most of my possessions and I am now spending my hard earned cash travelling the world!
I enjoy being active, mainly through yoga, walking, dancing and scuba diving these days. I enjoy experiencing new things, as most travellers do. I will try anything once, not much scares me! I have done bungee jumps, sky dives, and lots of scary adventurous things - but I was most scared walking in Delhi during Diwali when fireworks were flying down the streets very close to our heads!
I aim for a balanced life though, and enjoy many quiet pursuits as well. I am studying Spanish this year, and I read a lot. I also enjoy writing - here’s the link to the blog of my travel experiences https://reverendmothersay.wordpress.com
Generally I think of myself as an open minded, honest, non-judgemental person who is interested in new people, new experiences and new perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to dance! Any time music is playing you’ll find me shaking my hips! In the past this has been to RnB, Hip Hop, Rap and Pop! Since being in Latin America I have fallen in love with Reggaeton. I am also taking lessons in Salsa and Bachata. My main priority in any new place is asking “is there anywhere to go dancing here?!”
I love to read and I carry my kindle with me most places, although at the moment reading is taking a backseat to my Spanish practice - learning all the verb conjugations takes times! When I do get time to read, I don’t really have a preferred type of book, I mainly just take recommendations from people. I guess the books I enjoy most are those that tell me a story or educate me about something (anything!) I don't know about.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learnt to fly a plane solo when I was 16, before I had my driving licence!
Teach, Learn, Share
Expect nothing, appreciate everything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories of England, and other places I have travelled! If my mathematical, analytical or finance skills would be useful to anyone I’d happily share those - maybe build a spreadsheet or a budget or similar! I can help people practice English or Maths.
