I'm Fe, a nurse from England, travelling with Greg, a mechanical fitter from New Zealand. Met in Canada and bonded over our mutual love of taking frequent career breaks for travel :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, one of my favourite things to do! Me and Greg are travelling around Central America and California July to November 2016 and are looking for some lovely willing locals to point is in the right direction in their local towns and to crash with (stay over). You'll be rewarded with good company, house trained guests and the obligatory few beers :)

Interests

Doing something new, I love a playing team sports, and by that I mean social sports! I play rounders when I'm back in Cambridge for an old work team (I left the job but couldn't part with the rounders team!). I love being outdoors, swimming, bikingwalking...anything really!

I like to write and feel like I've won the lottery when I find a good book :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love country music but really will listen to anything, I love listening to other people's music collections as I always find something new I like. Favourite book is Kate Atkinson-behind the scenes at the museum, and everything else she's written! And films, very difficult to pick one but I'm an out and proud Disney and dream works fan...the lion king was a masterpiece!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

diffiucult to quantify amazing but I quitting my job after 5 years in office work to go train to be a nurse felt pretty amazing!
