About Me
Hey, nice to meet you!:)
We are Jasmin and me - Fiona, two girls from Germany and - to be honest - couchsurfing newcomers. We met each other half a year ago in our Erasmus in Riga (Latvia). Now we want to travel through Scandinavia via interrail for the next month and are super excited for the upcoming adventures.
We are open to making you a part of our journey and get to know you better. However, it’s up to you if you want to spend time with us or not.
Get in touch with us over the app or whatsapp (+4917651969990)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We want to discover Scandinavia without fixed dates or Instagram must-sees. Our plan is to stay where we like and be as spontaneous as possible. We don't want to take away the flexibility we gain from the Interrail ticket by booking hotel stays in advance.
We want to get to know the people who actually live in the cities and regions we want to visit and not sink into the tourism bubble.
And to be completely honest: We are just students. The more we can live on a small budget, the more we can see of Scandinavia.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like listening to rock, indie and sometimes pop music. Some of my favourite artists are Fall Out Boy and Alt-J.
When it comes to films, I usually go for comedy, drama, classical and fantasy movies. I also really like movies for children, like "how to train your dragon". I love to have movie nights with my friends and eat popcorn together. However, when I'm alone, I prefer to watch series.
Normally I'm a bookworm, but unfortunately I didn't find much time to read during my semester abroad. I enjoy reading dramas, novels and also books about psychology and feminism.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Over the last few months we’ve collected several unforgettable moments. From seeing the polar lights in Lapland, partying at a rave in an old airport, up to drinking us through almost every cute, little coffee place in Riga - we are excited to share the memories of our semester abroad with you.
Teach, Learn, Share
We would like to learn more about the culture and the people of the country.
I am studying to become a primary school teacher and Jasmin is studying international business. We would be happy to share our knowledge in these areas with you.
After our time in Scandinavia, we both will go home to our lovely regions in the south of Germany. Feel free to visit us there soon!
What I Can Share with Hosts
As far as you want to, we are happy to share our culture, our stories and our free time with you. We also enjoy cooking and sharing our food in good company.
Besides the German culture, we can share a little bit of the Latvian culture with a shot of typical latvian “Riga balsam” we brought to share - some Latvians even said it has curative effects…
