Hello! My name is Fiona and i love making friends wherever I go. My one passion in life is travel, and I'm using every recourse I can to make it easier, and more personal. I've stayed in hostels before, but staying with someone who lives in the area is a much richer experience I would love to be able to enjoy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am traveling to Australia on a budget and hope to be able to use Couch surfing between weeks of Workaway stays. I also am very excited to meet people who live in the area for advice on the most amazing things to see during my trip!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed up 150 foot trees and repelled down cliffs into golden eagle nests to put the babies in bags and lower them down to biologists who tested their blood for lead.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have taught the art of making and using traditional, wooden flat bows and arrows to students for a few years and love to talk about archery. I also taught various other things like tracking, shelter building, friction fire, camoflage and edible plants for 6 years total.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will share great humor, adventure stories, survival advice, sewing advice, and any help around the house or help with any project if you need it!
