我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I grew up with people coming to stay - because we had the space and to help people out who couldn't afford to pay for accommodation or just for the fun of it...we didn't always know the people - it could've just been contacts through other people or Corrymeela (A peace and Reconciliation Centre in Ballycastle in Northern Ireland).
It is great to be able to offer accommodation to people who need it so they can travel cheaply and I guess for me too of course when I actually get the chance to travel. Even if I literally have a sofa-bed to offer it can be very much appreciated. Also, it would be a good way to get to know an area if the host has time to share their experience of their area. A wonderful way to meet people from near and far. :-)

I have not long finished my four year degree in BA Hons degree in Business with Event Management, great to do it but delighted to be finished.
I have art college behind me (previous life) and still am interested and do some visual art.
The environment is important to me and health. My love (Phil Brown who is also a 'couchsurfer', my family and my friends are dearly cherished.... I am a lucky woman.
Otherwise I love; cooking, and eating:-), yoga, listening to music, dancing, singing, photographing, nature, walking out in nature (especially with my favourite dog in tow), travelling, connecting with friends, meeting new people.

Literally all I can share is my couch or a bed upstairs. I have a very small house with an all in one sitting room dining room and kitchen - it is L shaped so if I'm in the kitchen I can't see in the sitting room so it's not too intrusive if someone is in bed & someone else needs something in the kitchen. So yea all I can share is my space - as far as I can think right now.... And of course I can provide 'cosy'.....Cosy is important to me so I like to share it too. :-)
